Spring Break-The Ending

Well, there is one more day of Spring Break left....and frankly, I wish there was another week to go, but then again, since Winter Break was extended by a full week (because of snow), I really shouldn't complain.

This has been quite an interesting week! It started with meeting the NW cast and crew of Twilight...honestly didn't think it could get much better. The rest of the week was pretty mellow--worked out, ran some errands, did somethings around the house, spent way too much time playing on the internet (blogging, watching twitter conversations, exploring you tube).....

Then the end of the week came! Thursday was a FUN night! Meeting Hooba and Gavin Degraw, seeing them play (both spectacular in person) with my friends Michelle, Allison, and her sister Melissa. It was a lot more than I expected--we were front row, and chatted with them all! So awesome.

Friday, I spent the afternoon at the zoo with the Blackman boys, Lee, and Kim. It was so great seeing Kim (visiting from Boston). I love the zoo, and it was great getting to go with the little guys! Abe was so cute--he loved the baby elephant, Sam!

Friday night, Kim, Lee, and I had a great time out on the town. We spent the evening at the Portland City Grill, enjoying the beautiful view and laughing about all sorts of things. We ended the night in a very Portland way, at Voodoo Donuts....YUM!

And then today was spent uploading and playing on the internet. Seriously, it takes that long to upload a 3 minute video??? I also got an invite to join a friend of mine tomorrow, to go to an open casting call for extras for the Harrison Ford/Brendan Fraser flick that will be filming here soon. I heard about that earlier this week, and actually pondered going....but now that I have a buddy, I'm there. That would be a lot of fun! I'll keep you posted on if anything comes from that....

So Spring Break is coming to an end....I haven't even gotten close to getting everything I wanted to get done, done. But it has been a great break indeed! Now, one day left and then it's back to the grind stone. Yet, I love my job, and enjoy being at work....so it's not too bad :)
