My Night Without

I've chatted before about my addiction to technology....Well, the other night it was put to the test. I brought my computer home from work, yet, the battery was dead, and I forgot to bring home the cord to charge it. I was left with only my phone and iPod to fill my technology addiction, and I will be honest....it wasn't enough!

Yes, I can Twitter from my phone (by texting), and I can go to the site to see what others are saying, but if I did that as much as I would have liked, my phone bill would be HUGE! So I did text in that I forgot my cord, and was pondering going back for it....I got lots of Twitter love, and my Twitpeeps (yes, I made up that word too) begged me to go back....alas, I did not have time to do so. All night, I felt a bit ansy about not being able to check my Twitter and be a part of that little world. Sad, I know.

The night off was nice, I talked on the phone (something I hardly do anymore), I watched some TV I had DVR'd, it was a nice evening....but I'm not gonna lie, I really wanted to check my Twitter on my phone A Lot more than I did....but I did restrain myself to just a few times :)

I did make it through, and caught up on things the next morning, before the kids came in....it was like getting the fix I needed to make it through the day....Horrid, I know!
