OMG!!! I just got home from a night where I hoped to get Christian Kane to sign my Leverage DVD, to finish off the cast...but I not only came home with the DVD signed, but pictures with Timothy Hutton (Academy Award winner, film and television star, currently main character on Leverage)...
Aldis Hodge (currently a main character on Leverage), he is really sweet, and was smokin hot in his lovely suit...
And not one but TWO of my childhood television icons!!! Jonathan Frakes (played William T. Ryker on Star Trek: The Next Generation) was kind enough to take a quick photo with me. I used to watch Star Trek with my dad when I was a kid. Everytime I see it, I think of my dad...
AND I met John Schneider!!! THIS WAS AWESOME!!! For those that are wondering who is that, think back to your childhood (unless you are too young), he played Bo Duke on the Dukes of Hazzard!!!
I asked John if he was playing a bad guy on Leverage, and he said he was playing a REALLY bad guy! I said, "Oh, that's so not like you." He laughed and replied, "If you knew me, you'd know it's a little like me, but I'm not that bad!" Then we talked to him again outside. A homeless man walked up and said he was $4 away from a hotel room. I responded with, "I'm sorry I used the last of my cash to pay for parking." (which was the truth, actually) At that point, John pulled out a $2 bill and said, "If you can, try not to spend that. It is now your lucky bill." Then the homeless fellow thanked him and said, "I won't spend this! Wait, has anyone ever told you that you look like that guy from the Dukes of Hazzard? What's his name? Rob Schneider??" John laughed and said, "John Schneider, and yeah, that's me!" It was really a nice moment. He's the sweetest guy! More than likely, he was so easy going with people asking for pictures and autographs because he's used to the fame craziness that came with the Dukes!

He was the first guy I ever had a crush on!!! I totally freaked out when I saw him!!! He was SO nice, and just a lovely person!! I am on a SUPER high right now because I met a freakin Duke boy!!! I even called my mom in the middle of the night, freaking out afterward!! She loved those Duke boys too!!!
My friend Michelle, Aldis Hodge, John Schneider, and myself.

Just amazing, and unexpected!!! Christian Kane wasn't posing for pics with people (but I did get my autograph, to make my DVD complete). I totally understand why he didn't want to do pictures, but that would have just made an overwhelmingly wonderful night, just that much better!!! He and his band are utterly entertaining, and I would love to see them play again! It was a great show!! :) Plus, you never know who you might meet at a show...
**This adds on to the Spring 2010 Great Break Happening in the last blog posting--I don't know what kind of karma I have had, but it's all been fantastic and so much fun!!!**

I know who John Schneider and Timothy Hutton are, but not the rest of them...I'm so out of it! Sounds like a really fun night though.
