And School Begins Again...

I left last year frustrated and needing a huge break...from the adults at my school, not the kids. I got that break. This was by far the BEST summer I have ever had! Not only did I have my Aussie friends visit and we traveled around. I also, just seriously had fun with all my friends. For the first time, I didn't take any classes, workshops or trainings. It was a great, carefree summer!!!

So now school has begun, and as usual, I had forgotten a few key things! One, the first few weeks back are so bloody draining, it's pretty hard to make any sort of plan after school--not to mention working the 12-14 hour days! Two, I forgot how "young" my students are. I always think about the end of the year, where things are easy, students are more mature. Well...yeah, they are! They are a year older than now. I find it really funny that I forget these things every year!

I think that this year is going to be great! I have a sweet class, and I think their personality is a lot of fun! I have been feeling good about all the things that I was frustrated about last year. This year is going to be fantastic...I can feel it!!!
