We lucked out, and got the last rooms left on a weekend this summer, and it happened to fit perfectly into the weekend that I was home from traveling with the Aussies, and they were off traveling on their own (Aug. 15th-16th).
It was so great! I had a massage and a facial the first day, while Michele, Heather, and Jenn all had their treatments. Then Michele and I soaked in the pool. Man that pool is amazing and so relaxing. We then had dinner at the Black Rabbit Restaurant, which was really good! Heather wasn't feeling well, so she headed home for the night (to rejoin us in the morning).
The rest of the night was spent wandering around the grounds with drinks in hand. The nighttime happy hour is amazing. It was a lovely evening, and it was so much fun!
The next day we had breakfast and then headed to the spa. While Heather and Jenn had their pedicures, Michele and I relaxed by the pool and soaked our feet, while reading. Then we got our pedi's. Heather had a family obligation, so she headed out. Jenn, Michele, and I went to Yo Cream on the way home and then had a yummy dinner.
All and all this was a perfect relaxing weekend! It needs to be done on a regular basis!
