Autumn, How I Love Thee...

The brisk, cold mornings...the cool evenings...the colors of the leaves changing to an array of beauty...it could only be fall. I am reminded each year of the greatness of this time of year. Not only does it bring with it a new school year, a new Duck football season, but it brings the most beautiful time of year.

Yesterday, I went with a few friends up to Hood River to purchase apples and pears. We spent the day driving through the gorge...undeniably the most breathtaking drive in Oregon. After making the apple stop (which I was disappointed about, because they didn't have the kinds that I was wanting), we had a lovely lunch in Hood River, sitting outside, enjoying the brisk sunny afternoon. On the way home, we made a few stops to have fun with the camera in the forests of the gorge.

This time of year just brings amazing, lovely days. I think that a lot take them for granted...soon the days will get colder and the sky will get grayer. Autumn is the most wonderful time of the year!
